Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Japan, where I explored various regions and met with HR professionals from different companies, as well as Nepali workers currently employed here. What I discovered was quite encouraging—Japanese companies are actively seeking semi-skilled workers, especially in sectors like agriculture, fishery, and electronics.

Many employers mentioned that they prefer workers from the Middle East region, particularly from Nepal and India, due to their strong work ethic and adaptability. However, one challenge that continues to come up is the lack of proper training before arrival.
So here’s my suggestion to my colleagues and partners in the recruitment and training sector:

If we can provide pre-departure training in specific skill areas while candidates are still in their home countries, we can greatly increase their chances of success in Japan.

With the right preparation, I am confident these workers can earn higher salaries and build a stable, long-term future here.

Let’s focus not just on sending workers abroad—but on sending them ready, skilled, and confident.
